Fortum India took part in the seminar organized by Indian Power Management Academy (IPMA) Bhopal, an initiative by senior power professionals, with over 4 decades of rich experience in various streams for skill development of young engineers and capacity building in the power sector.
In the seminar Mr. Kari Porkholm, Fortum introduce on APROS - A Design & Simulation Tool valid for all types of boilers for power plant including Ultra super critical inclusive of PF or CFBC application.
National Seminar on CFBC Boilers gave an opportunity to all the participants of the seminar to discuss about APROS. Experts of this subject assembled in Bhopal from all over the country and abroad. Participant from the BHEL, NTPC and Doosan major Indian Power sectors players had very intensive discussion throughout the programme.
Work will continue. Forum will create awareness and influence on public opinion through government authorities, planners in association and other stake holders on CFBC technology to enlarge the market of CFBC in larger unit rating size of the boilers in the utility sector.
Cooperation with IPMA started 2012 when Fortum power Solutions delivered two generic Apros simulators to IPMA’s parent company Anmol Solutions. The company has got its four engineers trained in Fortum - VTT on Apros 2012 in Espoo Finland where they had very positive learning experience and possession of knowledge of the product.
