Production capacities

Fortum's diversified production portfolio utilises several energy sources in an environmentally benign way. We aim to continuously improve our competitiveness in climate issues and to keep greenhouse gas emissions among the lowest in the European energy industry.

Fortum has an ongoing investment plan to replace retairing capacity and to build new environmentally-benign power generation. In our investments, we pursue a financially profitable balance that provides the possibility to increase capacity and reduce emissions.
