Fortum Corporation's website ranked second best in Finland and ninth in Europe

The Fortum corporate website was ranked as the second best in Finland among the stock listed companies in the annual KWD Webranking survey.  Among the European companies Fortum was ninth. Last year our ranking in Finland was number one and fifth in Europe. This year the best Finnish company was Wärtsilä.

On Fortum's website, the "About us" section was rated as one of the best in the Utilities industry. Fortum's governance section received high scores across all the criteria and the corporate sustainability section was ranked the best in Finland, incorporating for example an extensive code of conduct section.

Among all countries Finnish companies performed extremely well  in presenting information about investor relations and corporate governance on their websites. In the survey Finnish and Swedish web sites were best in mobility. According to the survey, the demand of mobile services is increasing rapidly and companies have major challengers to meet the requirements.

The KWD Webranking is a comprehensive survey of online corporate communication globally. The ranking is based on the requirements and demands from investors, financial analysts, business  journalists, and job seekers.  This year, the  survey covered nearly 1000 companies worldwide.
