NURES® purifies your radioactive liquids reliably with fewer costs

NURES® is able to treat liquids when conventional ion exchange method does not economically make any sense. Even high salt concentration does not pose any problems. The system is based on patented, 100% inorganic, highly selective ion exchange materials CsTreat®, SrTreat® and CoTreat®.

These materials remove efficiently nuclides such as caesium, strontium, cobalt, manganese, as well as other corrosion products, or even plutonium and other transuraniums. Almost any kind of liquids can be treated, for example evaporator concentrates, groundwater, floor drain liquids, laboratory wastes, decommissioning liquids, spent fuel reprocessing liquids. Radionuclide concentrations can vary  from minor trace amounts to macro concentrations. More detailed information about the selective ion exchange materials,

Customised solutions for your needs

You can easily tailor your system for an efficient nuclide removal system, NURES®. It can be either a fixed system or a mobile set of equipment (in frames or in container). We will consult you in the realisation and supply our highly selective ion exchange materials. Spent ion exchange columns containing removed nuclides will be ready for final disposal in protective casks. When needed, NURES® can be packed up by auxiliary systems such as mechanical filtering, activated carbon beds, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.
