CASE: Systematic safety work shows results 

 Fortum recognises best performing team and individual with an annual Fortum Safety Award for excellence in safety as well as for inspiration and being a good example. In May 2011 awards were given to Oleg Trapeznikov from Russia and Grangemouth CHP team from Scotland.

 As a part of Fortum’s ForCare well-being programme, Fortum conducted a research and conceptualisation project, Fortum Core, in 2010–2011 in cooperation with Aalto University.

In early 2010 Fortum set out to develop a comprehensive model to support individual employees and the work community in different working situations. As a result of this goal-oriented work, the ForCARE well-being model was created.
