The goal of Fortum’s work well-being model, ForCARE, is to promote the health and work safety of employees by developing the work and the work environment. Unbiased and fair treatment of our employees is a must for occupational well-being. Along with uniform guidelines and practices, we invest in successful recruiting and orientation, leadership and remuneration, and in the development and training of our employees.
In addition to our occupational healthcare, which exceeds industrial safety and legislative regulations, we invest in the well-being of our personnel by e.g. supporting physical fitness and club activities.
We promote well-being at the workplace also through what is called an early-support model. We increase open communication between employees and supervisors by discussing and mapping the reasons for absences. By addressing issues and engaging in working capacity discussions, we ensure that opportunities to influence and develop are realised by both parties. A uniform model for addressing issues treats personnel equally and fairly.
