Our commitment to sustainable development is further elaborated in Fortum’s Code of Conduct and guiding principles. This policy is turned into action by setting development targets on Fortum's Sustainability Approach.
Fortum's sustainability policy was updated in 2007. The policy is expanded on by the Environmental Guiding Principles and Safety Guiding Principles. In addition to these principles, sustainability in everyday business is guided in the whole Group by Fortum’s Code of Conduct, human resources policy, biodiversity guidelines, purchasing principles, and the Fortum Supplier Code of Conduct.
