Fortum's main colour is green. The function of our corporate colours is to support our corporate image and our vision to be the forerunner in clean energy. We have chosen strong greens as our primarym colours. Their tones help us to communicate where we are heading as a company.

Primary colours: light green and dark green
Green is life, nature and renewal
Abundant in nature, green signifies growth, renewal and health that create feelings of generosity, loyalty, intelligence and luck. Green represents birth and life, and offers a sense of harmony.
Secondary colours: light blue, dark blue, yellow and orange
Blue is tranqulity and calmness
Blue is often associated with depth and stability. Blue symbolises trus, loyalty, wisdom, confidence and intelligence. Blue is tranquility and calmness; and has the most positive, and the fewest negative, associations in most cultures and colour theories.
Yellow and orange are energetic
Yellow is the colour of sunshine: it is associated with joy and energy. Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow.
Black and white are the fundament
White is the foundation upon which we build our communications; it is the blank sheet of paper or the clear digital screen. Black is mainly used for text. All shades of grey can be used.
The complementary colours come from natural things around us. Green leaves, cloudy sky, as well as earthy tones. This palete of nordic tones creates a warm and friendly atmosphere.
