Applying for a pass

Your contact person will send you pre-filled forms, see instructions on the other page of the ID card.

Arrival to Loviisa power plant

The reception office of the Loviisa power plant is located in the gate building at the end of Atomitie. Reception office is open on weekdays from 7:00 until 15:00. At the start of annual outages, the reception office is also open at specified times.

Prepare to present at the reception office

A person working at a power plant must have a photo ID with a tax number.

Accommodation

There are plenty of accommodation facilities and trailer space in the accommodation village located along the road to the power plant. Read more here.

Drug-free and smoke-free workplace

Fortum is a drug-free workplace. The use of alcohol and other intoxicating substances, appearing under their influence and taking them to the facility area is prohibited.

Safety

Trainings

All those who come to work at Loviisa NPP must complete induction training. This will ensure that everyone is able to operate in the area, taking into account the specific require­ments of the sector and safety. Induction training includes a general part as well as a radiation protection part. Training is valid for three years. Read more below.
