Apros User Group seminar 2019

This inspirational environment Hotel Hanasaari surrounded by Finnish archipelago and green spring nature has been for years an ideal venue for the seminar.
Tuesday, 14 May: Apros User Group seminar day 1
A Keynote Speaker Mr. Atte Korhola, Professor of Environmental Change at the University of Helsinki had a presentation of "Climate Change and Energy Production". This presentation brought an extremely interesting approach for the future energy sources and their environmental impacts.
Another Keynote Speaker on Tuesday, Mr. Falah Alobaid, Research Group Leader, TU Darmstadt, Germany had an in-depth presentation of "Dynamic Process Simulation for Next Generation Thermal Power Plants."
The latest Keynote Speaker on Tuesday, Mr. Emmanuel Foudrinier, System Engineer at Rolls-Royce, France was presenting "System loop validation in Loviisa I&C renewal project." Apros was an important success factor in renewal of reactor I&C in Loviisa Finland.
Wednesday, 15 May: Apros User Group seminar day 2
A Keynote Speaker, Mr. Jorma Aurela, Chief Engineer at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland had a presentation of "Introduction of the Finnish Energy Policy."
Seminar organisers, Fortum eNext, Fortum Nuclear and VTT warmly encouraged the participants to share their recent Apros successes, challenges and solutions with their fellow Apros users. Thus the seminar program included an extensive collection of user presentations – 27 in total. Customer presentation were e.g. from GE Power, Andritz, Uniper, TVO, Fennovoima, UJV Rez, and Forsmarks Kraftgupp.
A natural part of the seminar was also Apros product news, New feature demo sessions, and above all networking between users and developers.
This year's Apros User Group seminar was a great success – once again.
