Matti Kaarnakari appointed as Managing Director of Fortum India

Energy-efficient combined heat and power production  on the way towards solar economy

Matti Kaarnakari, 59, M.Sc., has been appointed as Managing Director of Fortum India.

Mr. Kaarnakari joined Fortum from the Belgium chemical industry company NMC Group, where he was Managing Director of the Finnish and Baltic operations. He previously held managerial positions with Neste Chemicals in Finland, France, United States, and was Plant Manager of Neste’s Porvoo power plant in Finland.
