For the third year in a row, Fortum Charge & Drive is organising the (no legendary) "Ladetour" in Norway! A group of around 40 EVs will start from Oslo on Friday 24th of August, heading via Rjukan, the extreme sport capital of Norway, towards the breathtaking views at Haukeliseter. On Saturday the convoy will head towards Kristiansand, where the first ever "Ladefest" or "Charing Festival" will be held together with IKEA Sørlandet. The festival is open to all who wish to attend and will have games, prizes, and Norway's first EV Drive In! On Sunday the Ladetour continues back to Oslo, completing a roughly 900km EV tour of Norway!
The Ladetour has been popular each year, with EV drivers getting to know each other and enjoying the activities and sights along the way. So far all EVs have made it to the finish line, and we're confident that this year will be no exception!
The Ladefest in IKEA Sørlandet will be open to all, so anyone wanting to come and spend the afternoon with games, prizes, and EVs, make sure to mark the date in your calendar (August 24, 2019)!
EV Drive In
The first EV Drive In in Norway will be organised as part of the Ladetour & Ladefest 2019! The theatre will be in the parking lot of Ikea Sørlandet, and anyone can register to join in! This picture is from one of the EV Drive Ins in Finland from 2018, taken by Tesla Club Finland.
