Fortum and JSC Rusatom Service sign a memorandum of understanding to develop cooperation in nuclear services

​Fortumt and JSC Rusatom Service have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop cooperation in nuclear services. The signing took place on June 20, 2017 during the International Forum at AtomExpo 2017. The companies have identified areas where Fortum's innovative services and solutions could bring significant benefits to customers when combined with Rusatom Services's offering in its key markets.

Fortum has decades of experience as owner and operator of the Loviisa nuclear power plant and VVER reactors. Fortum offers its customers products and services initially developed as solutions for the Loviisa Power plant. These solutions include for example the nuclide removal solution NURES®, ReMaint® concepts for maintenance and outages, and process simulation software Apros®.
