Description of the project
Fortum was awarded a contract for supplying of O&M services to Trianel Combined Cycle Power Plant in August 2005. Siemens was the EPC Contractor for the power plant as well the LTSA (Long Term Services Agreement) contractor for gas turbines (V94.3A).
The plant is 800 MWe CCGT power plant consisting of two 400 MWe single-shaft trains. The contract duration is 10 + 5 years.
Mobilization services included recruiting of the O&M team, training of staff, O&M IT support systems (Maximo maintenance management system, TOPi® process information system, Prodiary shift log book, Projectwise document management system), certified site management system (IMS) (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001), data population of the maintenance management system as well as planning of preventive maintenance programme.
Fortum has a total responsibility of the Power Plant operation and maintenance but spare parts as well as operation materials are pass-through items. A fundamental part of the scope of supply in this Contract is Fortum Back-office Support.
Fortum has an extensive experience of similar power plant O&M projects worldwide. High availability of the power plant is reached due to professional operation and maintenance. This is based on competent, skilful and motivated personnel. The customer benefits from high quality O&M management and implementation according to Fortum’s TOPGen® concept. Fortum also has long term experience of Siemens gas turbines.
