Fortum signed a contract for supplying the O&M services to Trianel Combined Cycle Power Plant in August 2005. Siemens was chosen as the power plant EPC Contractor as well the LTSA (Long-Term Service Agreement) contractor for gas turbines (V94.3A). The plant is 800 MWe CCGT power plant consisting of two 400 MWe single-shaft trains.
Fortum's contribution to the project:
- Mobilisation services including recruiting the O&M team
- Training of staff
- O&M IT support systems (Maximo maintenance management system, TOPi® process information system, Prodiary shift log book, Projectwise document management system)
- Certified site management system (IMS) (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
- Data population of the maintenance management system as well as planning of preventive maintenance programme
Fortum has a total responsibility of the power plant operation and maintenance. A fundamental part of the scope of supply in the contract is the back-office support from Fortum.
Fortum has extensive experience of similar power plant O&M projects worldwide. High availability of the power plant is reached due to professional operation and maintenance. This is based on a competent, skillful and motivated personnel. The customer benefits from high quality O&M management and implementation in accordance to the Fortum’s TOPGen® concept. Fortum has a long and wide experience of Siemens gas turbines.
