Fortum has a greenfield operation and maintenance (O&M) agreement in place with Yumn Ltd in Rwanda, East Africa.
Project description
The contract is a five-year agreement. It covers the operation and maintenance (O&M) services of a new 2 x 35 MWe peat-fired power plant, including the technical services and IT tools needed for the plant. In addition, Fortum is responsible for the mobilisation phase of the new power plant. The construction phase has started in 2017.

Services: Fortum eNext has an Operation and Maintenance Agreement in place together with a Technical Support Agreement and IT tools needed for the plant. In addition, Fortum eNext is responsible for the mobilisation with the O&M team starting at site.
