Fortum Nordic Energy Debate

At Fortum, we believe that addressing climate change is too urgent to lower our ambitions and slow down the clean transition. While in Europe and beyond resilience and security rightly has increased priority, this does not have to come at the cost of our climate goals. Electrification is the key to combining and achieving both—creating jobs, growth, and energy security for all and making nature, people and businesses thrive together.
The clean transition is not just an environmental imperative—it’s an economic and social opportunity. For electrification to succeed, citizens must see tangible benefits: jobs, wellbeing, and growth in their communities.
This invitation-only event brings together decision-makers, industry leaders, and innovators to discuss how Finland can lead the way towards a cleaner energy future and attract vital investments that will help local communities to benefit and thrive.
