Apros® User Group Seminar on 3-4 June 2025
Apros User Group seminar will be organized for the 10th time on 3-4 June, 2025. We welcome all Apros users to join the event, hear the latest news about Apros and share the experiences with other users worldwide. We are very much looking forward to meeting you at the event!
Registration is now open!
The registration fee per participant is 510 EUR (exclusive of VAT 25.5%). A Finnish VAT 25.5% will be added to the participation fee, so the grand total amount shown in the invoice will be 640,05 EUR per participant (inclusive of VAT 25.5%).
The fee includes refreshments, lunches, networking dinner, and presentation material. Please, note that the cost of accommodation is not included.
Seminar program
Three keynote speakers have been confirmed for the seminar:
- Professor (Energy Technology and Energy Economics) Sanna Syri from Aalto University will talk about “Energy transition in Europe and the Nordic area – What should be considered?”
- Professor (Department of Energy Technologies) Falah Alobaid from LUT University will talk about “Recent advances in Apros modeling for energy systems”
- Dr.-Ing. Nicolas Mertens from Uniper Technologies GmbH will talk about “Supporting Flexible New Build and Plant Optimization with Apros Thermal: A Utility Perspective”
The program contains also a wide spectrum of application presentations and the latest Apros product news. Detailed program will be shared with the registered participants closer to the event. Tentative schedule is shown below.

Venue and accommodation
The event will take place in Hotel Rantapuisto, Helsinki, Finland. The hotel is located in a beautiful seaside location by the Baltic Sea, 15 km from Helsinki city center and the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. We have reserved a quota of rooms available for the seminar participants. Seminar price for a single room is 110 EUR and twin/double room 125 EUR (including breakfast, gym and sauna).

Training
Apros training is provided on the seminar week. Seminar participants have a possibility to participate in basic training (General Features) on Monday, SCL training on Thursday and Apros Nuclear training on Friday.
