Energetic summer jobs
Each summer, we offer opportunities for more than 100 tudents and recent graduates. You will get to work with interesting projects and assignments in your field to gain valuable experience and expand your network in the heart of the energy industry. Most of our summer trainees work in our Espoo headquarters or at our nuclear power plant in Loviisa. A summer job could be a great start to your journey at Fortum.
Join as a thesis worker or trainee
Internships and thesis projects are a great way for us to get to know you while you're still a student—and for you to get to know us. These opportunities offer valuable insight into our business and culture, helping you discover whether Fortum is the right fit for your future. Because we believe a company should fit you, not just the other way around.
At Fortum, internships/traineeships typically last between 1 to 6 months and allow you to become part of a team, apply your academic knowledge in practice, and gain hands-on experience in your field of study.
If you're working on a thesis, we offer flexible arrangements that support your academic goals while giving you access to real-world challenges and expert guidance. Thesis projects usually span 6 to 9 months and are always aligned with your university’s requirements.
