Reduction of power at Fortum’s Loviisa nuclear power plant Unit 1 due to repair of hydrogen leakage in generator

​A hydrogen leakage in Unit 1 was detected on Thursday morning 4, May, 2017. The unit's power has been reduced to 50% for duration of the reparation. Unit 1 is estimated to reach full power during Friday May 5, 2017.

The Unit 2 is in normal production.

The situation does not endanger people, environment or the power plant.
