How is our visual identity applied?

Fortum’s colour palette is modern and fresh, inspired by the tones and moods of Nordic nature but with a contemporary twist. By combining greens with an energetic purple accent, we create a strong, vibrant palette that can still be bent into balanced harmony. Graphical Aurora element captures the dynamic and powerful movement of energy, embodying our mission to drive transformation and sustainability. The fluid shapes of aurora also hold a deeper connection to the Nordic identity, evoking the mesmerizing patterns of the Northern Lights.

Our visual design makes Fortum more distinct. Green and lavender purple colours, Fortum Sans font, Aurora and powerful images are the foundation of our visual identity.

Our image style emphasises warmth through genuine and joyful expressions. We showcase people's authenticity by highlighting how we are present in everyday moments.

The Fortum logo reflects universal energy. The logo communicates about control and strength. The open form of the logo refers to development and open attitude towards improvements. In addition to the basic version there is also a version with tagline. Our basic logo is available in four colour options: Powering Green, Ivy Green, white and black.
