Fortum Espoo exempted from the obligation to publish interim report for the
period 1 January - 30 September 2006
The Finnish Financial Supervision Authority has granted Fortum Espoo Oyj (Fortum
Espoo) an exemption from the obligation to publish an interim report for the
period 1 January - 30 September 2006 in accordance with Chapter 2 Section 11
Subsection 5 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act.
Fortum Corporation has on 13 September 2006 obtained the title to all minority
shares of Fortum Espoo in the redemption procedure according to the Finnish
Companies Act. The quotation of Fortum Espoo's share on Helsinki Stock Exchange
has ceased on 13 September 2006.
