On 23 February there is a reduction of power at Loviisa nuclear power plant Unit 2 second turbine due to a failure in control valve. The power has been reduced from the normal 265 MW level to 165 MW. The failure is being repaired. Unit 2 is estimated to reach full power during the afternoon 23 February, 2018.
The Unit 1 is in normal production.
The situation does not endanger people, environment or the power plant.
