The power of Loviisa power plant, Unit 1 has been reduced on 19 July, due to a failure in a main sea water pump. The power has been reduced from the normal 507 megawatts to 132 megawatts. Investigation of the failure is ongoing.
Unit 2 is in normal production.
The situation does not endanger people, environment or the power plant.
