Grassroots program in football

Fortum Tutor

Fortum Tutor was a national sponsoring program launched in 2009 in partnership with the Football Association of Finland to develop the skills of coaches of junior football teams. The goal was to make sure that children have an inspiring and competent coach already at a young age. The program ran for ten years and had an impact on tens of thousands children and their families around Finland. Fortum Tutor program was at that time the first of a kind and was rewarded 2012 as the best Grassroots project in Europe.

Fortum Tutor program was experimented in different formats also in other sports (volleyball, ice hockey) and in different countries where Fortum operates.
