Fortum India proud to announce first ISO Integrated Management System Certification

We are very proud to announce that we have received the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications for Fortum eNext business activity in Fortum India.

Fortum eNext was the first business within Fortum India Pvt. Ltd. to be certified according to ISO 9001.

Fortum India is delighted to have been awarded International Standard Organization (ISO) Integrated Management System (IMS) Certification for 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), 14001:2015 (Environment Management System), and 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety) certification, an internationally recognized standard that ensures their business and services meet the needs of customers through an effective integrated management system.

The scope of the certificate is the management of professional services on engineering, erection and commissioning of combustion modification for NOx emissions reduction in thermal power plants. Fortum eNext is the first business within Fortum India Pvt. Ltd. to be certified according to ISO 9001.

A continuous improvement culture

Fortum India's decision to work towards ISO Integrated Management System accreditation demonstrates its commitment to continually improving its business and services. To become ISO IMS compliant, the Fortum eNext team in India underwent an extensive company-wide audit that included quality, environment and occupational health and safety management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, customer site witness audit and clearance of minor non-conformities.

ISO is one of the most rigorous and well-regarded standards in the world. Team Fortum India eNext was audited by the British Standards Institute (BSI) and presented with their certificates on 29 Jan 2020.
