Fortum's Loviisa nuclear power plant prepared for the corona virus epidemic

At Fortum and the Loviisa nuclear power plant we take the corona virus epidemic extremely seriously and have taken several measures to prevent the transmission of the virus. We adhere to the recommendations and guidelines of WHO and national authorities. Loviisa power plant is prepared to ensure operational safety, emergency preparedness and security of the plant at all times. Preparedness plans are in place and key authorities are notified of them.

At the moment, we do not welcome external visitors to the power plant until further notice.

We communicate about the measures actively to our employees, external contractors and partners and are in regular contact with the necessary authorities.
