Lars-Hugo Andersson appointed Vice President Turbine and Generator Services

Lars-Hugo Andersson has been appointed Vice President for Fortum Turbine and Generator Services (TGS) as of 1 February 2024. TGS is part of Fortum Circular Solutions. Lars-Hugo will succeed Vesa Kylmälä, who will move on to new responsibilities outside Fortum.  

Lars-Hugo Andersson will play a crucial part in developing Fortum TGS businesses in Finland, Germany, and Sweden, ensuring a sustained focus on long-term impact on the northern part of Europe.

With his extensive experience and in-depth business and technology knowledge, he is very well suited to lead and further develop the Fortum TGS Business Unit. 

Lars-Hugo has been with Fortum since 2023, previously managing Fortum TGS Sweden. Before he took on his current position, Lars-Hugo Andersson held several leading positions at VOITH HYDRO, Alstom, and ABB. 

Lars-Hugo Andersson is a Swedish citizen and was born in 1968. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
