Tainionkoski Hydropower Plant

The Tainionkoski hydropower plant, completed in 1949, is located in Imatra. The output of the power plant is 62 MW and the head is 7.8 meters. One Bulb and three Kaplan turbines. Average annual production covers the annual electricity use of 15,000+ households with electric heat.
