Fortum, Teollisuuden Voima, Vattenfall and Uniper will start a third joint trainee program for future nuclear sector professionals. Nordic Nuclear Trainee Program (NNTP) is a great opportunity to kick start your career in nuclear, learn about the nuclear sector, Nordic operators and their collaboration.

Trainee program starts in September 2024 and ends in December 2025.

Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant

Our 750 nuclear professionals play an important role in the decarbonization of the energy system. We have been safely operating the Loviisa nuclear plant in Finland for over 40 years. The operating licence of Loviisa power plant is valid until 2050, which means that we will need the expertise of a wide range of professionals well into the future.

Extensive competence in nuclear

We are co-owner of several nuclear power plants in the Nordics. We implement own nuclear power projects, have strong focus in nuclear R&D and provide expertise to new nuclear and hydrogen projects. Through extensive inhouse competence we also offer our services to nuclear industry globally and are investigating opportunities in nuclear new build.
