We closely monitor and promote employee engagement. It is one of our strategic targets. We encourage employees to speak up and give feedback and promote open dialogue and understanding. Our personnel's input is essential in making Fortum a better and more inspiring workplace for everyone.
Collective bargaining agreement
Fortum respects employees’ freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining. Fortum applies local collective bargaining agreements in compliance with the scope of each respective agreement in its operating countries. Collective bargaining agreements cover around 75% of Fortum’s employees in Fortum’s main operating countries. There are no applicable collective bargaining agreements in, e.g. Poland.
