The old employee contract will be phased out, and its benefits will end at a later stage. Switch to the new employee contract to enjoy even better employee benefits.

If you do not have a fixed-term electricity contract, you can order a new Fortum Tarkka or Fortum Duo electricity contract without a basic fee from this page, even right away. If you have a fixed-term electricity contract, you can place an order no earlier than 3 months before the end of your current electricity contract.
Remember to add the additional services you want to your contract when ordering (max. 4 pcs when ordering).
Please note that the service will automatically suggest a suitable start date, which follows standard industry practices for starting a new electricity contract. This is a normal procedure for contract changes.
If you have an older Fortum Tarkka electricity contract with employee benefit (base fee 0 €/month), you can switch your electricity contract via this page either to a Fortum Tarkka electricity contract without brokerage fee and base fee.
If you want to change your contract to a Fortum Duo electricity contract as an employee contract without a base fee, you should send an email to asiakaspalvelu@fortum.com. Please read the detailed instructions below.
Remember to add, when placing a new electricity contract order, the additional services that you want from the automatically suggested options. After placing the order, you can also log in and add more additional services.
When selecting a new contract, you can also add new free additional services at the same time. If you already have additional services such as 100% renewable energy, 100% solar energy, or price guarantee, first log in to the Fortum service and cancel your current additional services. After this, the new free employee additional services will become visible, and you can select them.

If you have a fixed-term employee electricity contract with a base fee benefit (e.g. Fortum Takuu or Fortum Duo), you can make a new-type Fortum Tarkka or Fortum Duo contract no earlier than three months before your current contract ends.
If you are already a Fortum employee customer, you cannot create a new Fortum Duo contract in the self-service portal; you should contact our customer service by email instead. The start date will also be incorrect in the self-service portal.
You can easily create a Fortum Tarkka contract yourself.
Please note that the service will automatically suggest a suitable start date, which follows standard industry practices for new electricity contracts.
If there are more than three months until your fixed-term contract ends, you unfortunately cannot switch to a new contract yet. However, you can update your current additional services to new free employee additional services and add new services to your existing fixed-term contract by sending a request to asiakaspalvelu@fortum.com.

If you have a Fortum Kesto electricity contract with an employee benefit (base fee 0 €/month), you can create a new Fortum Tarkka electricity contract via this website.As a current Fortum Kesto customer, you cannot create a Duo contract via this website - instead, you should contact our customer service by email at asiakaspalvelu@fortum.com.

If you do not renew your Fortum Duo electricity contract before the start of a new contract period, you will automatically be transferred to a Fortum Kesto contract with a standard base fee. Your additional services will also become standard paid monthly services.
When you order an electricity contract via this page, you can select the additional services you want from the automatically suggested options during the order process. After placing the order, you can also log in and add more additional services.
If you already have additional services such as 100% renewable energy, 100% solar energy, or price guarantee, first log in to the Fortum service and cancel your current additional services. After this, the new free employee additional services will become visible, and you can select them.

As many as you want. For example, you can also make an employee electricity contract for your holiday home or cottage, but the contract must be in your name.
If your employment at Fortum ends, your electricity contract and additional services will be changed to standard-priced ones.
Terms of the Employee Electricity Contract:
Your employment with a company belonging to the Fortum Oyj Group is either permanent or fixed-term, and your employment lasts for at least 6 months.
You will activate an electronic customer account: e-invoice and electronic customer communication, and you will ensure that your contact details (email address, mobile phone number) are kept up to date in the fortum.fi services.
