Secure payment
Mobile banking protection is enabled in a secure browser. You will receive a notification when you go to a secure banking or payment website and the connection to the page is secure.
On Windows, Fortum Safe's banking protection blocks untrusted network connections during an online banking session.
Device protection starts as soon as you connect your device to Fortum Safe.
After ordering, you will receive information from us that will allow you to start using the service. First, activate the service on the device you want to use to manage the Fortum Safe service in the future. With the device you define, you can add or remove other devices or define rules related to your children's network and app usage.
In addition, the Fortum Safe application must be installed on each device connected to the service.
More and more daily activities are taking place on a mobile device – information searching, studying, shopping, banking, communication and entertainment. For the safe use of your Android phone, Fortum Safe offers a separate browser that ensures safe browsing. It keeps you and your loved ones away from phishing websites and pages containing malware.
After your order, you will receive confirmation and instructions for installation. First, download the app to your device.
Adding users
Through the app you install, you invite other family members and connect your other devices to Fortum Safe's data security. If you connect devices belonging to minor children to the service, complete the installation with age-appropriate limits by adjusting family rules and the child's phone settings.
We invoice the Fortum Safe service with your electricity bill. In this case, the Fortum Safe monthly fees are charged in arrears, just like the electricity usage.
