´The electricity contract that suits you best depends on your lifestyle, electricity consumption habits, and type of housing.
Explore four types of electricity contracts and find the one that’s right for you:
Spot-priced electricity contract:
A contract type where the electricity price is updated hourly. Spot electricity is based on the price determined on the electricity exchange.
Consumption impact electricity contract (i.e., hybrid contract):
Combines the benefits of fixed pricing and spot pricing. By choosing Fortum Duo, you can influence your final electricity bill through consumption impact.
Fixed-price contract:
As the name suggests, in a fixed-price electricity contract the price of electricity remains the same throughout the agreed contract period, regardless of fluctuations in the electricity market. By choosing Fortum Takuu, you get predictable electricity costs during the contract term.
Monthly updated electricity contract:
With Fortum Kesto, the price follows developments in the electricity market, meaning the price you pay may vary slightly from month to month. However, you always know your electricity price for the current month.
