Questions about our online services

Unlike an app that you download to your phone from an app store, the online service works online, and you can use it on any device: computer, tablet or smartphone.

When you log in on the web, you can find your own contract and electricity consumption information and invoices. You can also do customize you contract with our addons and, for example, accept an offer or change the origin of your electricity contract.

The service is intended for households that have an electricity or district heating contract with Fortum.

Using your Fortum credentials, you can access all services. You can create credentials with your email address and strong authentication (bank or mobile authentication).

If the service informs you that the credentials is already in use, you can recover the credentials using the "forgotten password" functionality. Let our customer service help if you are unable to activate the credentials using the password function.

Unused credentials are deleted automatically. The customer will be notified of the deletion.

If you signed an electricity contract with our customer service, credentials may have been created for you at the same time. In that case, all you need to do is change your password.

The service is free of charge and can be used if you have a valid electricity or district heating contract with Fortum.

If contracts for different locations have been made for the same customer number, they will automatically appear in your Fortum online service.

If necessary, please contact our customer service for assistance in merging contracts for the same customer number.

Usage tips for viewing consumption data

  • You can quickly see the hourly consumption for a day, for example, by clicking on the column for day

  • If you want to look at, for example, hourly costs for the entire week, a quick way is to click on the hour/day option below the table after selecting a time period.

For example, if you have electric heating, your electricity consumption will increase significantly when the temperature drops. The temperature curve therefore helps you understand the effect of the outdoor temperature on your own electricity consumption and, for example, the effect of using additional heat sources on your electricity bill.

Once you have selected the time period, save the consumption data to your computer using the button above the graph/table.

  • The "Export CSV" option allows you to save the consumption data in csv format and review the data in Excel

  • You can also save the graph information for yourself in pdf format.

  • Enter the dates or use the selection box that opens when you click on the date selection with the mouse.

  • From the selection box, you can freely select the start and end dates with the mouse, or select the suggested time period from the shortcut buttons.

  • Time periods can also be accessed from the magnifying glasses below the graph on the right.

Yes, it is possible.

  • Select a time period and then click the "Table" button.

  • If the temperature selection is on, the temperatures are also displayed in the table.
