By adding the Yritys Alkuperä service to your electricity contract, you ensure that the amount of electricity corresponding to your comapny's consumption has been produced from renewable sources. This is verified by guarantees of origin. This way, you support the development of renewable electricity production and at the same time participate with us in the work of the Natural Heritage Foundation to protect Finnish forests. The contract also includes energy advice to help improve your company's energy efficiency.
Yritys Alkuperä was previously known as Fortum Vihreä. The Yritys Alkuperä service has two different options available, Yritys Alkuperä and Yritys Alkuperä Basic, from which you can choose the one that suits your company needs the best.

You will receive tips and advice on monitoring, analyzing and optimizing energy consumption so that you can improve your company's energy efficiency and achieve significant cost savings.
Support for the protection of ancient forests
You will participate with us in the valuable work of the Natural Heritage Foundation to protect Finnish forests. Each Yritys Alkuperä agreement protects 10 square meters of primeval forest per year.

Support for the protection of ancient forests
With the additional service Yritys Alkuperä, you are involved in protecting Finnish forests through the Natural Heritage Foundation. With each Yritys Alkuperä agreement, you protect 10 square meters of primeval forest with us per year, which binds approximately 10 kilograms of carbon dioxide per year. This way, your company is involved in actions to stop the loss of biodiversity and mitigate climate change.
The Natural Heritage Foundation is a foundation established in 1995 that, with the help of its supporters, has protected well over 5,000 hectares of Finnish forests and established more than 200 protected areas around Finland. The foundation acquires ownership of natural areas and guarantees them permanent protection in accordance with the Nature Conservation Act.

The Yritys Alkuperä service also includes energy advice. Energy advice provides tips and advice on monitoring, analyzing and optimizing energy consumption, so you can improve your company's energy efficiency and achieve significant cost savings. You can contact an energy advisor through the Yriys Online service. Energy advice is provided by the consulting company Granlund Oy.

An energy expert from Granlund Oy will contact you shortly after submitting the form. Depending on demand, you can expect to be contacted within a few business days of submitting the form. You can arrange a meeting time and your preferred method of contact (phone, email or online meeting) directly with the energy advisor.
Typically, energy advice begins with a survey of the current situation. This is important so that the energy advisor can find the right measures for your situation. In the questionnaire, you can provide, among other things, the following information to support the survey of the current situation:

The importance of energy in society is constantly growing and growth is not slowing down in the coming years. No company or service can function without energy. And as society becomes more electrified, energy consumption will only continue to rise.
In addition, it is very likely that energy costs will continue to rise for a long time to come. In this case, it will also eat up an even larger share of the funds available to companies. If the price rises slowly, companies will easily just budget more for its costs, even though energy use and thus also costs could be optimized with even small things.
