You can choose between a contract duration of one, two, or three years. The contract is intended for companies whose total annual consumption at their usage locations is up to 200,000 kWh.

How is the price calculated?
When you enter into a fixed-price contract with us, Fortum trades on the electricity derivatives market, specifically with electricity futures. This means that your electricity is purchased in advance from the market. This allows Fortum to guarantee you a specific electricity price for the entire contract period.
The price of the Yritys Varma contract does not change, even if market prices fluctuate. The energy price of the electricity contract is set at the time of the agreement and remains the same throughout the contract period. Even if the market price of electricity rises, you benefit from price stability and predictability in your electricity bill. The energy price per kilowatt-hour remains the same for the entire contract period. Therefore, your electricity bill is calculated by multiplying the fixed energy price per kilowatt-hour by the amount of electricity you consume. Additionally, a basic fee of €5.40 per month is charged.
By choosing a fixed-term and fixed-price 12-month contract, you lock in your electricity price for 12 months
By choosing a 24-month contract, you lock in your electricity price for 24 months.
By choosing a 36-month contract, you lock in your electricity price for 36 months.
