Fortum nominated for Norway's best customer service

Fortum is among the top 3 finalists nominated for the award for Norway's best customer service in the electricity industry.

- This is a nomination we greatly appreciate, and it is a recognition of our continuous commitment to providing the best customer service to our customers," says Jeanette Bråthen, Team Manager Customer Service at Fortum Strøm.

The award Customer Service of the Year is awarded to businneses in Norway with the best customer service, based on Kantar's extensive customer center measurement, KS index, with over 20,000 interviews each year, according to Kundeserviceavisen.

- At Fortum, we are very pleased to be recognized for the important work we do to assist our customers daily," says Bråthen.

Customer service is the heart of our business. We understand that satisfied customers are the key to our success, and therefore, we place great emphasis on ensuring that every customer experience is positive and that they receive the assistance they need. Our dedicated team of customer advisors  are always ready to help and guide our customers through any inquiry or challenge they may have.

An important service

 In recent years, electricity prices have varied greatly, leading to customers becoming uncertain and wanting tips for saving electricity in their homes and cabins, how to get the most out of our additional products, or deferring a bill payment. All this - and more - is assisted by Fortum's customer service team.

To put it into perspective, in the first weeks of this year, electricity prices fluctuated quite a bit. During this period, just over 14,500 calls were recorded at our customer centers - for both Fortum and our subsidiary NorgesEnergi. So, over 14,500 times customers have received assistance, advice, or help in just two weeks. It is - in other words - obvious that it is a service our customers appreciate and find valuable. It is also a service that is included in the price of our electricity agreements," says Bråthen.

Fortum's subsidiary, NorgesEnergi, which will soon be merged into the Fortum brand, is also one of the three finalists.

- For us, good customer service is about meeting the customer's expectations every time - an experience that should be simple, efficient, and create security," concludes Bråthen.
